As far as I’m concerned, there’s nothing more important than people.  Than folk. So this blog is about my folk, my family – or, to be Scottish about it – ma ain fowk.

I belong to them and they to me, whether they’re still alive, or a memory in a photograph or only a name on a tombstone in an old kirkyard. Here I’ll tell their stories.
