		<description>At the risk of making things worse - could another (probably remote) possibility be that there were TWO sets of James and Margaret Cowans in Airth at the same time? Or that James had two consecutive wives named Margaret who both insisted on their son being called William? Neither of these would help you pinpoint which William is yours though :(</description>
